Challenge:
Geneva Supercar Show needed a custom platform to manage guests, tickets, VIP access, transport, and onsite operations. Ticket and guest information came from several sources, including online store orders, form submissions, and manual staff entry. Without one central system, it was harder to search records, validate access, generate badges, and keep the gate system up to date.
Solution:
MDSolutions built a full-stack registration and event operations platform that normalised ticket data from multiple sources into one searchable registry. Squarespace orders, form-based submissions, and manual entries could be managed in the same backoffice.
The system included QR code scanning for entrance teams, rule-based ticket validation, VIP access checks, scan history, and branded PDF invitation generation. Staff could create access badges in bulk, export data, import Excel files, and keep guest records consistent across the event.
Transport workflows were also added for driver assignments, ride scheduling, WhatsApp/SMS notifications, Google Maps trip duration checks, and post-ride feedback links. The platform synchronised valid QR rights with a physical gate access system so newly issued badges could become active without manual exports.
Outcome:
The event team gained one operational platform for registration, tickets, access control, and transport. Entrance staff could validate guests faster, admins had better visibility, and manual coordination was reduced across critical event workflows.
The result was a practical, event-ready system built for premium guest operations and reliable onsite access control.
