  • Server logs and security records, including IP address, timestamps, requested URLs, referrer information, status codes, and browser or device information.
  • Information you submit through the contact form, including name, email address, optional phone or chat contact, message content, language selection, and submission time.
  • Account, authentication, session, and audit data required to protect the admin area, manage protected content, and publish case study content.
  • First-party cookies store language (`preferred_language`), theme (`mds_theme`), and security or session information needed for website functions.
  • Google Analytics and Google Tag may process usage data such as page views, events, device and browser information, approximate location, technical identifiers, and IP-derived information.
  • Technical delivery data may be processed by hosting, infrastructure, email, asset delivery, and font providers, including Google Fonts when external fonts are loaded.
  • You can block, delete, or restrict cookies and similar technologies in your browser settings. This may affect language, theme, session, or analytics functions.

Purposes and justification

MDSolutions processes personal data to provide the website, secure the platform, answer enquiries, prepare and perform contracts, deliver services, manage protected areas, publish content, troubleshoot errors, and improve the website.

Under Swiss data protection law, processing is carried out in accordance with lawfulness, good faith, transparency, proportionality, and purpose limitation. Where a justification is required, processing is based on consent, contractual or pre-contractual necessity, legal obligations, or MDSolutions' overriding private interests in communication, security, service delivery, evidence, and website improvement. If the GDPR applies, the usual bases are Art. 6(1)(a), (b), (c), and (f) GDPR.

Processors and transfers

Recipient categories include hosting and infrastructure providers, email and SMTP providers, Google for analytics, tag management and fonts, IT support providers, professional advisers, and public authorities or courts where legally required. Data may be processed in Switzerland, the EEA, the United Kingdom, or the United States. For countries without an adequacy decision, MDSolutions relies on appropriate contractual or statutory safeguards; for certified US providers, the Swiss-US Data Privacy Framework may apply.

Retention

Personal data is kept only as long as required for the relevant purpose. Operational logs are retained for security and troubleshooting needs. Contact, project, contract, and accounting records are kept for the duration of the relationship and, where applicable, for statutory retention periods, usually up to ten years for business records.

Your rights

You may request information about your personal data, correction of inaccurate data, deletion or destruction where legally possible, restriction of processing, data portability where applicable, objection to processing, or withdrawal of consent with effect for the future. MDSolutions may request identification before handling a rights request.

This website does not make automated individual decisions with legal or similarly significant effects and does not intentionally conduct high-risk profiling.

In Switzerland, the competent supervisory authority is the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC / EDÖB).

Security

MDSolutions uses appropriate technical and organisational safeguards, including access controls, least-privilege handling, secure transmission where available, logging, and regular maintenance. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
